Online Undergraduate Requirements: Prospective students may complete their applications and pay their application fees online, over the phone, through the mail or by faxing in documentation. Students must submit SAT or ACT scores (if under 22 years of age), as well as official High School and college transcripts.
Resident Undergraduate Requirements: Prospective students may complete their applications online, over the phone, through the mail or by faxing in documentation. Students must complete a 250 word or less essay, SAT or ACT scores, high school and any college transcripts.
Online Graduate Offerings: Liberty University offers 16 graduate programs online. Liberty offers 13 graduate programs in a blended format, which means that classes must be taken both on campus as well as online. Graduate Requirements: Graduate Admissions requirements depend on each program. Continuing Education for Adults: Liberty University accepts transfer credit for undergraduate programs from accredited institutions. In addition, Liberty recognizes that adult learners have valuable experiences that they bring to the academic environment of higher education. Liberty believes that students should receive college credit for learning that can be demonstrated through experience. This means that if students have had experience in various fields and can demonstrate learning, students may be eligible to receive college credit for their experience. In some cases, credit may be awarded directly for job training, based on a precedent that has been established by Liberty University. In other cases, students will need to petition for credit through the Portfolio Process.
Online Enrollment Periods: Liberty University's online program offers rolling admissions. Enrollment periods are Fall Term-July 31 Spring Term-November 30 Summer Term-April 1
Resident Enrollment Periods: Residential Admissions offers rolling enrollment.
Online Program Format: Most classes are taught in a 8 week online setting
Resident Tuition and Fees: Tuition for 07-08 is $14,850. Room and Board varies.
Online Tuition and Fees: The Undergraduate Distance Learning tuition for 07-08 is $250/credit hour. Students must pay a technology fee of $150. Graduate tuition for 07-08 is $425/credit hour for Post-Master's degree programs and $395/credit hour for Master's degree programs. Students in the seminary will pay $250/credit hour, however, resident seminary students pay a flat $1500 for 6-15 credit hours per term and dlp seminary students pay a flat rate of $2000 for 9-15 credit hours per term. Online students have a $150 technology fee. Residential students have fees which vary per program.
